In a press release from the Governor's Office on September 8th, the Governor announced changes to his administration and the Department of Human Services. In this announcement, he made yet another historic appointment. Governor Pritzker named Dulce Quintero, Board Member, as the Acting Secretary for the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). The IDHS the state's largest agency.
Dulce is the first nonbinary individual leading a state agency in Illinois! They have dedicated their life to advocating for and providing services to those most vulnerable in our communities.
