WHAT: Latine Homelessness: Community Discussion on LGBTQ+ Youth

Hosted by ALMA Chicago in collaboration with La Casa Norte, Equality Illinois & ILLCF: a public forum on Latine LGBTQ+ youth homelessness and policy solutions.
This is a community conversation on the disproportionate impact of homelessness on Latine LGBTQ+ youth.
The event will highlight Latine Homelessness in Illinois: Structural Drivers of Inequality report. People with lived experience will help ground the discussion. State Senator Omar Aquino and State Representative Lilian Jiménez will share legislative perspectives and potential solutions.
This event is free and open to the public and media. Registration is required.
WHAT: Statewide Network Monthly Community Meetings

Community Voices, Statewide Action is a monthly virtual community meeting hosted by ALMA Chicago in partnership with Equality Illinois. Held on the last Tuesday of each month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Central Time. Each meeting includes organizational and civic updates, community discussion about emerging concerns, and opportunities to advance solutions grounded in lived experience.
Everyone interested in listening, sharing, and helping shape community-informed solutions is welcome. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Register once and use the same link for all upcoming meetings.
